From the Manila Times (Apr 2): Army troops recover explosives in NPA camp in Isabela
GAMU, Isabela: The military recovered explosive materials from a New People’s Army (NPA) camp in a remote village in Isabela province.
Reports said the Army’s Isabela-based 5th Infantry Division (ID) troops seized the communist camp following a 15-minute firefight with undetermined number of NPA members in Barangay Villa Robles in coastal Palanan town around 7:30 a.m. on March 28.
No one was hurt among their troops while the enemy side sustained an undetermined number of casualties.
