From the MILF Website (Mar 12): Peace Advocacy Group launched in Lanao Del Sur

 

Marawi City - A Special Committee Called Bangsamoro National Movement for Peace Advocacy was organized In Lanao Del Sur Last Month. The Committee is composed mainly of local Media men and Professionals based in Lanao Del Sur. Their main task is to gather popular Support for the Passage of the Bangsamoro Basic Law in the Congress and during the Plebiscite to be called for the Establishment of the Bangsamoro Government.
  
Agakhan M. Sharief, Chairman of the said Committee during a televised briefing in Marawi Islamic Televsion Channel -8, informed the Public that their Group already sent a special delegation in Metro manila and nearby Regions as far as Baguio City to Campaign and talk to Muslim Communities to Support  the Bangsamoro Basic Law and Bangsamoro  Government.

Abdullah Macaorao a Member of that delegation that went to Metro Manila, also gave a detailed Report of their accomplishments, Tens of thousand Muslims living in NCR pledged to attend the Thanks giving Rally that will be held in Metro Manila during the Signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on Bangsamoro slated this last week of March 2014. The said Thanks giving Rally will be spearheaded by the Said Committee.

Atty. Dadatoon Disoma also urged other organizations Based in Metro manila to Participate in the Said thanks Giving event, “ We all must observe Vigilance and ensure Smooth Passage of the BBL.” added by Atty. Disoma.

The Group is also organizing a Peace Caravan that will Travel from Marawi City all the Way to the Venue of the signing of CAB.
